The U.S. Student Program provides 33 grants for study/research in any discipline and English Teaching Assistantships. For academic year 2010-11, the Fulbright Commission has extended its award program with four new awards offered by the Polytechnic of Turin to study and research at the Polytechnic in the fields of Architecture and Engineering, and one scholarship, offered by the Casten Family Foundation and the University of Gastronomic Sciences for the attendance of the Master Program in Food Culture at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Colorno.

The program is designed to give recent US B.S./B.A. graduates or graduating seniors, master’s and doctoral candidates, young professionals and artists opportunities for personal development and international experience through study and research programs.

Scholarships are awarded through an annual competition administered by the Institute of International Education - IIE in collaboration with the Fulbright Commission.

Candidates should have a solid academic background and a well focused study/research project to be carried out at an Italian institution.

 

Study and Research Opportunities in Italy
